Amir Drucker
The director of the association
Amir started playing handball at the age of 16 in professional leagues and played for about 30 years in the various leagues and even in the Israeli national team. Amir serves as the coordinator of the handball program at Ben Zvi Kiryat Ono High School and is an educator and physical education teacher at the high school. Since 1995, Amir is the professional manager of the "Hapoel Kiryat Ono" club.

After quite a few clubs in Israel, I feel that I have reached my natural place, I feel the family and care here. My vision is to walk hand in hand with Hapoel Kiryat Ono to the top of Israeli handball, the ambition is to make domestic players an important screw in the senior team and surround them with good foreigners who know how to both help them professionally and be an example and role model for how a professional handball player should behave.

After a long period in the south, I am happy to return to the association where I grew up. This is my 16th year coaching. I believe in discipline in training and hard work, athletes should be human beings before they are players, invest everything they are on the field, this is the best way to get important tools for life even after sports.
